Asking My Pendulum Questions

by Aubrey
(Atlanta, GA)

Hello,

I just started using my pendulum today. I have a very spiritual friend who does healing, and she taught me how to use it. I've only used it a few times, but I noticed that my mind was not clear, so I figured I should do a bit of research before I continue.

Anyway, I was reading though some of the other questions people have posted and at one point I got a bit confused.

In one of your answers you said, "For example, you can learn through your pendulum what you are here to learn and to do this time."

I understand that I should only ask questions that can be answered with a yes, no, or maybe/undecided. But if that is truely the case, how can my pendulum tell me what I am here to learn and do?

At first I thought I could just give the pendulum options, but with further thought I realized that there are so many options to choose from, let alone list.

Asking My Pendulum Questions
by: Tanya Tkach, Webmaster

Hello Aubrey,

Yes, I can understand how you can be confused.

First of all, one way of clearing your mind is through meditation which is important to do regularly. You can access my pages on meditation through the sitemap.

Once you start meditating, things will become clearer for you. You will start knowing things through your intuition.

When I said that you can find out what you are here to learn, it will be at the point where you more aware and then will have an idea due to your experiences. We are always being tested on a daily basis.

For example, if you are someone who lacks patience, you will constantly be in situations where your patience is being tested. At this point, you will have a good idea that you need to learn patience. Your questions to your pendulum concerning patience could be.

"Is my patience being tested?", "Am I here to learn patience in life?" Or even, "Is one of my lessons in life, learning to be patient?"

Then you could ask the same sort of questions regarding your emotions or behavior in particular situations or towards others. Perhaps you are having problems with a specific person, and you are here to resolve issues that you have had with that person in a past life time.

You can ask all sorts of questions, but only as you become more aware of yourself, others and your environment.

Remember that the questions always have to be very specific with no double meanings that can be answered with a "yes" or "no" response.

Have fun working with your pendulum.
