Can Your Mind Change The Answer?
by: Tanya Tkach, Webmaster

Hi Lucia

Yes, your mind can affect the answer of your pendulum. So it is important to clear your mind of any thoughts.

This is one of the reasons why it is important to meditate often and to keep that feeling after meditation when you ask a question. It is also important to cleanse yourself, your room and your pendulum at all times, but especially before working with it.

When you work with your pendulum you need to be in the moment. You ask the question in one moment, then you are in another moment waiting for the answer. As you are waiting, concentrate on your feelings - feeling the pendulum through your fingers. Be in the moment with no thoughts in your mind.

If you do not receive an answer from your pendulum, perhaps you are not ready for the answer, or perhaps your pendulum is not responding because the vibrations of your thoughts are confusing the pendulum.

It is very important to have a clear mind when you are using your pendulum so you are able to receive the answers through your pendulum.

If you are not getting a clear response, you can also ask if you are ready for the answer.

Once you get the knack of this exercise - keeping your mind clear of thoughts while you are aware of what you are doing and everything around you - you are definitely being in the moment.

You can also use other dowsing techniques such as your body for responses. Check out my pages on dowsing for beginners and dowsing techniques.

Thank you for your questions and your appreciation of my web site.

Sending light and love,
Tanya Tkach, Spiritual Counselor
