Dream Interpretation

I keep reliving this dream which happened approximately a year and a half ago and I need to know what it means.

I was in a house, walking up to the second floor. There were two doors - both of them open. It felt like I was being given a choice of going through one of the doors, but I couldn't choose.

All of a sudden, a spider bit me on the neck, the two doors shut (almost violently), and I woke up completely startled. It felt so real, as though a spirit was trying to tell me something.

I'm going through a lot of changes in my life, trying to decide where my future lies....and I'm very confused. I'm sure this dream has a lot to do with my current spiritual journey.
