Are you Hearing Voices In Your Head?
Apparently, I had this spiritual gift as a child but my mother discouraged me from using it because of her fears. So for most of my life, I ran from it. I did poorly in school because of the voices, I was having conversations with the voices in my head rather than concentrating on my lessons. If you are hearing voices in your head you may think you are going crazy. While I was in university, I thought I was. I can remember banging my head against the walls of my dorm. Then I started drinking with friends I'd met at university. While I drank, the voices receded into the background. As long as I was immersed in something, I wasn't aware of hearing the voices. I know now that if I had listened to them, I would have saved myself from many problems and situations in life. But I was head strong and felt I had to experience everything. Throughout my 30's and 40's I was involved in individual and various therapy groups because of the voices. I always felt different from the rest of society - that I had an affliction. I tried to deal with it through pills and drinking and partying throughout the 60's till the end of the 80's. But I was always questioning - Why me? Why am I always hearing voices in my head? In '97, my mother died and my whole world changed. My mother was now talking to me from the other side - I had to listen. I was lost without my mother in my life. Even though we fought tooth and nail, she was a huge part of my life, a reality that I didn't face while she was alive, and now...my life felt empty. I write about all the circumstances leading up to my spiritual awakening and how my life changed after the recent deaths of my loved ones. My conversations with them are in my book "That Damn Voice Again, Communication from Beyond". We all possess spiritual abilities such as hearing voices, but many of us have forgotten what we have learned and are able to do - how we are capable of receiving messages.
