Is My Sister Going To Recover From Her Current Illness?

I have been using a pendulum for some time. I am not always confident about the answers. I was told by a medium in a training session that it should go clockwise for "yes" and anti-clockwise for "no".

When I ask independently, it goes back and forth for "yes" and sideways for "no".

I asked the above questions in the two formats and the answer was "NO".

I really want to trust and work with this as I am a developing medium and it is really important for me.

I might add that I didin't sleep at all last night and found out about my sister's illness this morning.
