Lack Of Movement

Hello,

I have been attempting to use a pendulum for simple "yes" and "no" questions for over a year. I have tried several different pendulums and they all seem to behave the same way for me.

Either there is no response and it simply sits there quivering or the response is incorrect. Such as is my name Penny, or Charlie and the answer is "yes" both times.

I cannot seem to get a clear answer on anything. It either moves inappropriately or not at all. Why?
