If you follow a raw food diet weight loss program, you will lose weight because of the lack of carbohydrates.

It's important to cut out all fried foods, most meats which have more fat (except salmon, chicken, turkey, lean beef), bread, pastas and potatoes and anything with sugar as in pastries.

To follow a raw food weight loss plan, you cannot eat any cooked food, and that is difficult to do immediately. You can start by doing it in stages.

I apologize because I tried to follow the raw food diet weight loss plan, but after some time, I backed out.

It's difficult for me to cut out meat as I live on a labor intensive property and I need lots of protein. I know there is lots of protein in beans, but I am not fond of them. They contain too much gas, and when eaten, being with people can be embarrassing.

During conversations with my spiritual guides, I could hear their voices often telling me to quit eating meat and to eat more vegetables and fruit.

  • fresh fruits and vegetables,
  • nuts,
  • seeds,
  • beans,
  • grains,
  • legumes,
  • dried fruit,
  • seaweed unprocessed organic or natural foods,
  • freshly juiced fruit and vegetables,
  • purified water - I use blue water and young coconut milk

In the mornings you can have have cold cereal with fruit or if you have a juicer you can make freshly squeezed juice.Try these juice recipes.

Remember there’s no cooked food, so you have to cut out all fish and meat products unless you are a sushi fan.

As for vegetables, eat them raw with a little low calorie mayonnaise and yogurt sauce, juice them, or you can try steaming carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini if it’s difficult to digest them raw.

Cultured Vegetables

It is difficult to follow the raw food diet weight loss program because it’s not easy to cut out certain foods completely, so I suggest doing it in stages.

For lunch, eat lots of salad with all types of leafy greens, (young spinach is delicious) green or red bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, onions, radishes, and celery. Here’s where you can add all kinds of different raw vegetables. Toss the salad with Olive oil and organic apple cider vinegar. You can add nuts for protein.
