Why don't you follow the Raw Food Weight Loss plan with Me?

If you follow a raw food weight loss diet, I am convinced that you will lose weight. Since I want to lose about 20 pounds, I'm going to follow the plan as best I can.

So I'm planning to do it slowly. I'm cutting out all fried foods, most meats which have more fat, bread, pastas and potatoes and anything with sugar as in pastries.

I'm starting the plan as we speak but I’m not doing it cold turkey. To follow a raw food diet plan, you cannot eat any cooked food, and that is difficult to do immediately. That’s why I’m doing it in stages and if anyone wants to do follow my plan, here it is. I’m also taking daily supplements.

These are some of the Foods You Can Eat

Fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans, grains, legumes, dried fruit, seaweed unprocessed organic or natural foods, freshly juiced fruit and vegetables, purified water - I use blue water , and young coconut milk

First of all, in the mornings I still drink coffee and I have cold cereal with fruit or if you have a juicer you can make freshly squeezed juice. Secondly, I am still eating meat once in awhile (once or twice a week) since I live on a labor intensive property and there are times that my body craves meat. But most of the time, I’m eating fish.

Right now, I find it difficult to cut out the fish. Remember there’s no cooked food. As for vegetables, I steam carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini. There are days when it’s difficult for me to digest raw vegetables. On certain days I eat them raw with a little low calorie mayonnaise and yogurt sauce.

At this point most raw foodists would turn up their noses at me and say I’m not following the raw food weight loss diet. But as I said I’m doing it in stages. It’s difficult to cut out certain foods completely.

For lunch I eat lots of salad with all types of leafy greens, (young spinach is delicious) green or red bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, onions, radishes, and celery. Here’s where you can add all kinds of different raw vegetables. I add first pressed Olive oil with organic apple cider vinegar, and nuts for protein.

Suppers are usually fish, with salad, and sometimes rice.

Before you start this type of diet, I highly recommend doing a cleanse, there's a 9-day cleanse or a 30-day cleanse. Both are excellent. Either one helps to clear out all the gunk in your digestive system.

During the cleanse, you may experience some aches, a slight headache and nausea, that’s due to your system eliminating the toxins from your body. If you have done a body cleanse before, your system will not react as much. It’s very necessary and do-able, also it prevents disease.

Wishing you luck with your raw food weight loss diet!
