I visited a loved one's grave recently and brought my pendulum just to see what sort of energy it might pick up on.

I asked questions directly to the person who was buried there.

Was I communicating with this person in spirit through the pendulum, or was my own subconscious providing the answers?

Hi Debrah,

Yes, your loved one was using your pendulum to speak with you since you opened that door to communicate with him/her.

Now that you know you can communicate through your pendulum, use it to ask specific questions.

The pendulum is a marvelous tool to communicate in the spiritual realm with other souls. Just make sure that you cleanse yourself and your pendulum first. Read the "using a pendulum" page for cleansing.

To make sure that you are speaking with the soul of your loved one ask questions that only you and the soul know the answers.
